I am a professional with more than 35 years experience practicing law. In addition to working as a staff attorney and Ethics Advisor for the Court of Criminal Appeals, I have also been a partner or associate with several small but notable law firms. I have been in private practice representing clients in need of a highly knowledgeable attorney with excellent credentials continuously since 1993. I am Board Certified in Criminal Law (1991) and Criminal Appellate Law (2011) by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, which means you can trust that I have the knowledge and expertise necessary to prepare your case or appeal with the utmost skill and resourcefulness. I am also an educator of criminal law, having taught at continuing legal education seminars and workshops to other professional lawyers for nearly 30 years, and am routinely asked to consult with judges, prosecutors and defense lawyers.

I am flexible about meetings, and will be happy meet you in your home or your favorite coffee house -- we can also confer via video conference -- all you need is a webcam and a microphone.
